Occupational First Aid (OFA)
FETAC level 5 course and recognised by the Health and Safety Authority as the only legally recognised course.
There is a requirement on employers to risk assess the need for have staff qualified as Occupational First Aiders under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007. It is a 3 day course which is examined by an external instructor.
This course is taught by a registered first aid instructor and includes the IHF Heartsaver AED and PHECC CFR courses. (Depending on the number of participants)
This course is appropriate for those who need first aid for their work place or those needing a recognised certified First Aid course.
Certified FETAC level 5 & HSA approved (valid for 2 years)
Course Duration 24 Hours.

CPR & Defibrillator Training
- Epilepsy, Diabetes and Asthma
This course is suitable for all people; it may be of particular interest to groups or businesses that have defibrillators and Community Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) programmes.
Certified Irish Heart foundation & American Heart Association (valid for 2 years)
Course Duration 3-4 Hours.
- Recognition of cardiac arrest
- CPR adult and child (infant if requested)
- Use of Defibrillator
- Recognition and treatment of choking adult and child (infant if requested)
