National Slow Down

An Garda Siochana has announced:

National "Slow Down" day 2016  will take place from 07.00 Friday 27th May to  07.00 Saturday 28th May.

The aim of the National "Slow Down" day is to reduce the number and severity of road traffic collisions.

This initiative is supported by the Health and Safety Authority, Road Safety Authrority and a wide range of key business stakeholders

Although 2015 saw a very welcome reduction in road deaths, 27 fewer than in 2015,
